New obsession
The Game and Lil Wayne are killing it...
And I'm grindin' til I'm tired
They say "You ain't grindin' til you die"
So I'm grindin' with my eyes wide
Looking to find
A way through the day
A life for the night
Dear Lord, you took so many of my people
I'm just wondering why
You haven't taken my life
LIKE WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING RIGHT
More L.A. fun

And I don't know what it is about this place, but I have never drank so much coffee in my life! And of course... everyone wears their sunglasses permanently... Olympic art
One for the knowledge box...
The medals are 70mm in diameter and 6mm in thickness. On their obverse side, the medals adopt the standard design prescribed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) -- a drawing that represents the winged goddess of victory Nike and Panathinaikos Arena, while on their reverse side, the medals are inlaid with jade with the Beijing Games emblem engraved in the metal centerpiece.
The IOC has strict stipulation on the Olympic victory medals' material, identification, weight, size and drawing. The medals for the champion and the runner-up are made of pure silver, and the champion's medal must be plated with gold weighing not less than six grams each. For the first time jade is used for the Beijing Olympic medals.
The design not only meets the IOC requirements, but also expresses praise and honor that the Chinese people cherish for the Olympic Spirit and the Olympic athletes.
The medals are designed with inspiration coming from "bi", China's ancient jade piece inscribed with dragon pattern. The medals, made of gold and jade, symbolize nobility and virtue and are embodiment of traditional Chinese values of ethics and honor, sending forth strong Chinese flavor.

So I'm leaving on a jet plane...
... I don't know when I'll be back again...
It's trade show time again! Twice a year everyone in the fashion industry gets really excited and runs like crazy because, let's face it, we are ALL late!!! Too much to do in too little time. Count down to Magic (biggest garment trade show in the USA, in Las Vegas) is 11 days guys! All this to say that I am off to L.A. tomorrow morning for the final race before show time. I'm sure I will be writing (because I love sharing my stories with everyone), but I just don't know how often...
Back in NY in Sept! And get ready... September is Emperial Nation month... keep all your Thursdays open... it's going to be back to back to back insane parties for the launch of the new collection!
EN getting on stage
