Day 1 of the Festival

So I went to the 1st day of the BK Hip Hop Fest last night.   It was amazing!  The venue was awesome... bookstore/art gallery with very high ceilings and a lot of partying space!  A lot of people showed up and everyone was in exciting spirits... it was great to just be with everyone, see some old friends, meet some new friends, hang out with my usual crew who almost all showed up!  

It was just a wild night from this guy in a crazy old skool mesh shirt (brilliant!), to someone walking pigs (you can see anything in BK!), to some nicely dressed guy who stopped in the street for a casual pole/leg stretching, to this beautiful girl who's hat was matching her scooter (actually, it wasn't her scooter... but she adopted it for the night), to trips at Mr Slushy, and of course to great performances by P.Casso, Fresh Daily, Homeboy Sandman, Sputnik Brown and DJ Sucio Smash.
